1/1/11 – Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone has had a great day. I have spent my day relaxing. Todd and I slept in and then I enjoyed some delicious cold pizza for breakfast. Pizza is the one food that I never get tired of eating. I love pizza – fresh or cold. Remember the rectangle pizza from elementary school? It was awesome!
This afternoon Todd went over to Kenton and Kristina’s to watch football with Kenton, AnDrew, and Phillip. Kristina, Sara, Tara, and I had an all day Twilight movie marathon. I really like the whole Twilight series. The books are better than the movies, but the movies are pretty cool to watch. Side note: Edward should be much hotter than Robert Pattinson – I am totally Team Edward, but if all I had done was watch the movies I guess I could understand why someone would be Team Jacob. Taylor Lautner is pretty cute. – It was a fun day.
So, that is really all I have done today. Watch movies and eat. Sorry that this has been such a boring day. Now I am by myself and watching Jerseylicious (it’s like a train wreck) and Golden Girls. I think since I’m watching the Golden Girls my song of the day should be their song “thank you for being a friend, travel down the road and back again…” I love the Golden Girls! Dorothy is so snarky. I can relate. I love snarkiness.
I have been on a total pizza kick. We had pizza for dinner tonight and I would love some more! I still can’t eat a whole lot, which is probably a blessing in disguise.
Have you thought of your New Year’s resolutions? I haven’t really thought of many, but it’s always fun and nice to set them. Here are a few I can think of off the top of my head:
- Keep off the weight I’ve lost.
- Run a 5K. (I’m not sure when this will happen, but hopefully I can accomplish it before the year is through. Maybe I’ll do one that goes to cancer research?)
- Try to keep a positive attitude through chemo.
- Finish my art project.
- Appreciate people and things more. Not take things for granted.
My goal for tomorrow is to walk a mile and go to worship service. Small steps!
My resolution is to have more patience with the boys. I love how I always think of your momma when I think of patience.."Patience is a virtue and virtue is a grace put it in your pocket and you'll have a happy face" out of the mouth and a great women who always knew neat sayings. ( I say this to Nathan and he just goes..uggh :) )
